I went in once first time to the Etobicoke store. it felt tense. the staff - young males were pumped full of 'attitude' . I avoided asking them anything.
When at the cash I felt rushed & my favorite new $10 water bottle dropped & shattered right in front of the till. They seemed pleased & smirked at my discomfort. Not a word of regret for my loss.
I returned another day to purchase several more items.
I took courage & asked one female staff about some things. She was perfectly professional & helpful. No complaints there but the young men waiting for my money - that's a different story. so smug it was painful.
I tried to ask him some questions about the products. He was a brick wall. How dare I speak to his highness.
I'm wondering if it's a family owned business & these are the inheriting sons. ?
And what is behind this unprofessionalism? Even the female staff seem to be in deference to these weird men.
Three strikes they're out in my book. One more chance. We'll see.
