  • I am a fan if monotony breaking concepts, restaurants and otherwise. So I'm glad Meatball Spot is open for business. It's a nicely designed, laid back, "not too fancy" place that has, among other things, Meatballs. Tasty stuff. We got Veggie Meatballs and a Caprese Salad. All good! The meatballs were not as tender as say the $18 Lavo behemoth, but they were great. It's a great place to stop in before you hit a movie next door (where I am now) NOTE: 4 MEATBALLS OR 3... As of this writing, the restaurant has only been open 1 week. Logistical issues do occur. This is one of them. When they made the menu, they had expected to do 4 meatballs. They realized they were too small and were getting too dry too quickly. So, now it's 3 meatballs, same amount of meat as the 4 smaller ones. Hopefully the menus are fixed by the time you read it.
