| - New favorite Thai spot!
They have a huge menu (like, literally HUGE - it's made of big, wooden boards) which has a little bit of everything, including several soups and veggie options -- Actually, I would say roughly 60% of the menu is vegetarian/vegan, which is awesome! I love discovering new places that cater to everyone. To be honest, it is kinda pricy, but it's so worth it. There's just so many things to choose from!
Made reservations as a party of 9 for a friend's birthday. Unfortunately, I was a dumbass and had eaten elsewhere not too long beforehand, so I simply went with an $8 pot of hot sake (which is about 6-7 shots) & a plate of fried eggplant -- But don't get me wrong, I def ended up doing a little scavenging off of others' plates: Tom Kha soup w/ scallops, chicken satay, mango sorbet, soft shell crab, and of course the fried eggplant... All of which were DIVINE! Next time, I'll bring an extra stomach and try something new.
The restaurant itself is a hidden gem. It shares a parking lot with another favorite of mine, Cornish Pasty Co., as well as the infamous Green Door. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but the interior decor is precious. Lots a bright, faux flowers and and gorgeous, wooden tables creates a cozy atmosphere. There isn't a whole lot of elbow room, but I think that just adds to appeal. It's a great place for an intimate dinner with your loved ones. Also, the bathrooms are tucked-away and tidy - which is always a plus.
On top of all that, service was spectacular! I can't remember their names off the top of my head, but the two women serving us were friendly, quick, and attentive. They really made it an awesome experience. Thank you! I'll be back soon!
