  • I trusted Yelp and asked Marc to come out and bid on maintenance / cabeling work on a 70+ year old willow oak in my front yard. The office staff was polite/professional and Marc showed up on time. He took a look at the tree and said "Well... We can do a beautiful job on the tree, but it will be done much easier if a company has equipment X, which I don't have. Don't get me wrong... I believe that we will do a better job, but other companies will be able to do it well and charge you less. Have you talked to X?" Wow... How often do you get that kind of straight-forward, honest feedback! I like the way he does business and hope I have work he can do for me in the future. I already had a bid on the work from the competitor that he recommended and he was right... they bid lower because they were better equipped for the kind of work I needed done. He actually praised their work and said that they would do a fine job. Marc is a nice guy who apparently builds his business on ethical, honest principals. A+ company!
