| - Showed up at the right time, but should have gotten there an hour earlier if I wanted to be on my way at the time I expected to be on the road. There were seven parties ahead of me, and each seemed to take a ton of time. My wife's comment - "Are these people BUYING cars!?"
There was only one person working the counter until another one showed up a half hour later, and then things started moving a little faster, but still a crawl.
If you get tired standing and waiting, there's a bench about six feet before you reach the front of the line, so you can make like it's a little reward for enduring the excruciating wait. Oh, that's if a party of unaware jerks don't take up the whole bench and don't move their unaware jerk asses even though they should be off the bench and at the front of the line six feet away.
Seriously, I'm surprised everyone was so patient and didn't lose it at either the Dollar personnel or the bench hoarders.
The only thing that made me glad about the experience was turning around, seeing the long build up of people behind me and thinking, "Glad I'm not you."
Oh, and even though I was in line for so long past my pick-up time, my drop-off time was still the same. Hey, thanks for charging me for an hour that YOU wasted.
