Very average sushi at a "fine dining" restaurant.
I ordered a dynamite roll and salmon sashimi. However, given the portions and quality of the food, the price did not do its reputation justice. The dynamite roll was decent, but probably the worst I've had. The salmon sashimi was pretty good, but did not taste as fresh or as cold as I would have hoped. I have read other reviews and maybe it's because of what I ordered. However, it definitely was an overall average dining experience. I might come back to try what they're more known for, like the chirashi bowl.
The restaurant itself was modern and intimate. Since we arrived closer to closing, they were able to accommodate for our party of 7 very easily and with little wait. Service was friendly and prompt, but we waited a bit for our food to arrive.
