The kiosk has two windows and unlike most coffee kiosks traffic faces the same way, so that the one on the left serves the passenger window. If you are alone in the car and are unable to stretch all the way across you have to use the right window. This is important to point out because often people with a disability rely on drive through to make life easier. This wouldn't be an issue if the kiosk had mirrors so the employee could see that you are sitting there. Yesterday I found myself sitting there for a good 5-10 minutes while the employee inside took their time and chatted with her friends in the car in front of me. That was fine until a car pulled up on the other side just as the friends left. When I pulled to the window i found myself waiting while she waited on the car that just pulled up. When I dared to complain she brusquely told me that if I had been sitting there there was another window. When I told her I couldn't reach she then said that the other car had been waiting too. When I said I had been there much longer and that they had just pulled up she said "I'm not going to argue with you" which is funny because that is exactly what she was doing. Why on earth do people who have no clue how to smooth over a situation they screwed up go into service? I went from sightly annoyed to smoking mad at her reaction. Install some mirrors. Learn how to talk to people. Two stars ONLY because the coffee was good. Sadly as much as I like to support local businesses I'll be going to the Starbucks drive through two blocks down the road from now on.
