  • I like Daphne's, especially since they moved to the new location right next to the Mint Hill historic village / farmers' market. Everything I've had there was pretty tasty, but I lament that my very favorite thing there ever, the three citrus muffin, seems to be around but hard to find - I only saw them there once even though they say they regularly make them. Beside muffins, the make pretty cupcakes, great cheese biscuits, pies and cakes. They also seem to sell their day-old baked things for cheaper - might be a great opportunity! They do have more space now than in their old location, but it doesn't strike me as a place I want to hang out at. All the more fun it will be when the farmers' market comes back in the spring - eating lovely baked goods while browsing the market or sitting in the swing in the historic village.
