I found Los Altos Ranch market outstanding, both in its selection of produce and goods and in their food court. Being a visitor from upstate New York, it is hard to find Hispanic products in such variety and at such great prices. I bought plenty of home-made corn tortillas, nopal leaves (edible cactus) and seasonings. I also had the chance to have lunch there. I had the three taco combo platter (I had carne asada, pollo asado and al pastor), which came with rice beans, and a few totopos. They were delicious, and I paid $6.99 plus tax for it! The highlight of my meal must have been the piƱa colada agua fresca I got from the agua fresca bar. It was natural pineapple juice blended with coconut. It was cold and sweet and served in a very sturdy plastic cup I could have saved for my trip back to NY. What an awesome place.
