  • ALWAYS CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT. Why? They do get pretty busy! So if you're a walk-in, anticipate the wait. Appointments get priority and that's just that. I mean, if you go into a doctor's office...its the same deal. Personally, last thing I would want...is a barber who is rushing haircuts because there are walk-ins waiting. Why? That means the barber values the number of customers for the money versus valuing his/her customer and the quality of cut. I've been to many barbershop, and barbers aren't quick. If they are, you better check your line-up. With that said, my eldest son started off with Marion. He's off on Mondays and when Mondays became the best days for us to get cuts...we ended up with Nico and just stuck with him. He's a real calm and chill guy, very nice, and he cuts my boys hairs just the way they like. I really value that he communicates with me regarding my boys hair. He's the youngest barber in there. Sometimes it comforts people knowing the barber is young because you automatically assume he will know the latest trend of haircuts. Let me add, the couple time we had Marion, his fades turned out pretty good as well. Honestly, I've watched all of them cut hair and they're all pretty good. I feel like you can't go wrong with any of them...and if you assume the old folks don't know what's up...wrong. But, we just now simply prefer Nico. He cleans my boys up nice. Gene, the owner, seems to be the popular one and boy can that old man cut hair! I've watched him cut hair and his work is pretty good. With the exception of Nico, they all used to cut hair for the military barbershop. So if all you active or retirees are looking for that type of cut you used to get or get on base...you've found your place/alternative. Prices are not expensive in comparison to other shops I've been to. I am sooo happy To have tried this shop out as we have been passing by it for yeeeeaaars. The hidden gem was in our neighborhood all this time! *Not stroller friendly. So leave the strollers in the trunk. Carry your baby in as the stroller will take up space and even block the other empty chairs. Remember...CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT and CASH ONLY! Enjoy!
