| - Lousy service at Pickering Volkswagen
My car was making a loud noise, metal on metal type of noise in the rear. I made an appointment and reported the problem to the service rep. When I got my car back, the service rep said that they did 2 road tests and couldn't duplicate the problem. They also said they checked the suspension and that my car is in a great condition. The problem is that when I brought the car in, the odometer read 35,228km. When I got it back, still with the loud noise in the rear, the odometer read 35,229km. So how did they performed these 2 road tests?
Anyway, I went to smaller car repair shop, Ian's Automotive Solutions in Pickering, and they fixed my car. The rear left and right coil springs were broken so they replaced them. How is it possible that the service at Pickering Volkswagen didn't identify this problem, and told me that they checked suspension and the car is in a great condition?
