  • So, I was excited when I heard this place was opening. I have been to pour in Asheville, great selection, super chill place with a helpful staff and I love the concept! Problem here is, a third of the taps had nothing hooked up to them, there were hardly any local/regional beers and almost nothing of consequence on the taps that were pouring. It is the golden age of craft beer and if you are going to open a place that does only craft beer, no food, no service, no nothing, then you better have an impressive beer list, especially during the start up phase. What it looks like to me is this place is owned by investors that spent a ton of money on the building and the taps and ran out of money when it came to hiring staff and purchasing beer. And if that is not the case then they are sorely lacking when it comes to a staff member that actually knows the craft beer scene and what people are going to come back for. One more thing about this place, you better be ready to pay handsomely. Several of the beers were $1 an ounce +, so that means a 16oz pint would run you $16!!!!!! They have lost their minds. Ill stick with goodbottle, and salud, thanks.
