I have stayed here twice on business travel. This hotel looks like fun for a family as it has a nice pool area with waterfalls. Rooms are clean and spacious, check in was a breeze and had my preferences ready, everything was in good working order, I got a great workout on a decent treadmill and some weights. My bill was conveniently placed under my door on check-out day.
Heavily promoted with flyers in room and posters by elevators was George's Chop House. The food was good, but if I had known about the hefty delivery charge and an 18% gratuity automatically added on top I would have ordered elsewhere.
The 5:30-7:30 open bar was limited to 3 well drinks, and I was disappointed the New Glarus beer on the wall didnt qualify at this location. After the drinks I stayed in the area to complete some work but the bartender soon after started vacuuming so I took the cue to retire to my room. Silly me forgot to put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door so housekeeping knocked at 8am, then a half hour later started vacuuming right outside the room. These few examples of not thinking of the guest first make the difference between a standard hotel and one I would return to.
