  • Went here yesterday for dinner for the first time. Service is great! It was busy at first but they were able to chat when it died down a bit and very friendly and make you feel welcome. The cheeseburger spring rolls are unique and delicious. I remember thinking "this is like a gourmet taquito". They come in threes, but I wanted to eat 15 of them. Now the burgers- I had the 6-cheeseburger and my girlfriend had the regular cheeseburger. I was expecting a 6-cheese BLEND, but it's literally 6x the amount of cheese, so it was a bit overpowering... but I also took a few bites of the normal cheeseburger as well- and the verdict is that the beef wins; it's so juicy fall-apart-in-your-mouth... and I love the texture of the buns. The Fries are great - well seasoned and great to dip in the dijon. Trying new onion rings sometimes makes me nervous because sometimes they are just done wrong (ie. burger king) but the onion rings here were more like calamari than anything- huge, crispy and soft and juicy on the inside. The one thing is- it's expensive! Sides like fries are like $4 extra... we got 1 appetizer, 1 beer, 2 burgers and 2 sides and it was about $44 + tip. The food IS certainly worth it, but you have to think "gourmet" pricing despite the fact that it looks more like a "mom and pop" pricing location. (thankfully i had a webpiggy coupon, so it didn't hurt too bad- definitely try and get a deal for the first time trying so you can dabble a little more on the menu) I'll definitely be back. Would probably just share 1 side and get 2 burgers... and try the tequila next time... and on a special occasion I'll work myself up to the saag poutine and Waygu burger!
