  • Unbelievable Service! Unfortunately, I arrived late for dinner and an acquaintance had a few too many drinks that the waiter was more than glad to serve her (serious liability issue). When I informed her about the drinks the waiter stated, "oh, she's ok!" I must say I've never seen wait staff so unprofessional and desperate to make money. The acquaintance joked about Lobster and the waiter took advantage and ordered it for her minus the utensils to eat the Lobster. I had to request that they give her the appropriate utensils. When the waiter checked on our table he only addressed my intoxicated friend about the quality of her food. For those who are not aware of the Las Vegas Service environment, most establishments don't appear to be in control of staff behavior. The staff are left to figure out who has money and who will be served professionally. His behavior overshadowed the excellent food! If it were not for other waiters we would not have received some of the correct utensils, menu or dessert menu! My intoxicated acquaintance was so happy about the waiter's attentive behavior that she said goodbye to him as he stood outside the restaurant talking to patrons who had exited the restaurant. He kindly yelled back to her "Thanks for the generous tip!" For the first time in my lifeI worried that I conducted business and paid with a debit card at a restaurant. I later contacted the Assistant General Manager who informed me that my acquaintance had no problem with the service!
