  • I'm an out of towner who came to Cleveland to watch my beloved Philadelphia Eagles win. Overall I enjoyed the stadium. They have open seating so fans can wonder around and try to sneak in open seats. The thrill of moving around is great, but the constant up and down makes viewing difficult. The weak screen they have doesn't much help. They had good food at fairly reasonable prices ( 8.50 for chicken fingers and fries), but there are no TVs/speakers in concession so keeping up with the game was difficult when the lines came to a standstill which they seemed to do constantly. Getting into the stadium was a nightmare. There were no clear lines, so people just stormed the gate. They had maybe six ticket scanners that were moving at senior citizen speed. They don't have a bag check, from my experience, and just wave a metal detector in front of you without much zeal. I wasn't checked at all and no one seemed to care that I just by passed that step. Parking was fairly simply. Stadium parking is 25 bucks for the day and there are nearby garages for 10 bucks. This is of course an increase from the displayed 5 dollar daily parking for non-events, but such is life. Getting out of the stadium was just as disorganized as entering with people walking in the streets, cars at a dead halt and cops just monitoring to make sure the drunks were in line. My final comment has to be reserved for the fans. I love spirited fans. When the Browns were doing well the place was truly electric--everyone yelling, on their feet, clapping--it was a true sight to behold. What I can't say I like is being called an asshole by about 100 people on my way in. I get it:I want you to lose, but shut the fuck up you lose all the time! And beyond that I don't know in what world it is okay for a grown man to scream in my face and call me a "fucking asshole." Have some respect. I'm a 5' 1 woman coming to your city, spending money and here to enjoy the same game you are. Sure, Get in my face if I start talking shit. Jeer me if my team screws up, but you should not approach a single woman and start spouting slurs because you've been drinking too much Miller Lite. I don't know about the rest of people from out of town but where I'm from those are fighting words. Midget height or not keep talking unprovoked shit and be prepared for me to throw bottles.
