| - My husband and I recently flew AA. When we arrived at ticketing, the woman asked for our passports, didn't say hi, didn't smile, didn't make eye contact. I let her know that the check in terminal said it didn't recognize my reservation (I was a tad bit flustered by that) and she didn't say anything to me for a few minutes. I finally asked her if she found me and everything was alright. She just looked up and said yep. Well geez! Thanks for communicating that to me. I'm just standing there nervous I don't have a flight! No courtesy at all! Then we were derailed when TSA took 2 hours which ultimately had us miss our flight. When we got to the gate 6 minutes late, the 2 woman working there were not friendly at all. Being that we were stressed about missing our flight, a smile or a "we'll take care of you no worries" would've been nice. Instead all we got was "let me have your ticket", with a stone cold face, and then she just looked at her screen and clicked around a lot with no communication to us at all. A little explanation would've been nice, just to know it's possible to get a flight or to let us know what would happen with our luggage that was now being taken a completely different route. I won't fly AA again after this experience. To come across 2 instances where the people doing their jobs seemed painful to them and made them so unhappy, I don't want my travel next time to be so miserable dealing with people who obviously don't care about putting on a smile, as they are the front of the company they work for!
