| - We came around 7:15 the Saturday before Mother's Day and we made a reservation. I was surprised with the time and occasion that it wasn't more busy than it was when we walked in, but as we were leaving, the place was packed. I guess they draw a later crowd.
I'll start with the service. Our waitress was very nice and outgoing, slightly forgetful though. Forgot bread, refills, a salad etc. Not a huge deal and her friendliness and her personality made up for it. I will say the wine, for $10 a glass was an under-pour. Obviously not the waitress's fault, just something worth noting.
We started with the antipasti plate and the baked goat cheese dish. Both were good, but for the price of the antipasti plate, it could use some more food and I'd recommend giving a few more pieces of the toasted ciabatta bread. I also had a wedge salad. Can't really go wrong with a wedge but the Parmesan dressing was tasty.
My entrée was the gnocchi. This came in an Gorgonzola cream sauce with prosciutto and bread crumbs. Very tasty, not a huge portion though. I also added Italian sausage to this dish. I'd definitely recommend this, it worked well with the dish.
All in all, this restaurant was tasty with friendly service. A bit overpriced for what it is, however.
