I'm dropping them a star (it really should be two stars, but I'll explain why later). Last month I took my car in for its 90,000 mile service (BTW my last American-built car didn't last that long). 4.5 hours and $1400+ later my car was "done." Well it wasn't. As I pull out the check engine light came on. I immediately turned around and had them fix it. The tech hadn't done something correctly. At least they gave it back to me rather quickly. Two days later I noticed a squeal when I started driving the cold car. They had installed a new belt wrong. It took me over a month before I had time to take it back (because I have a life and can't always take time off to potentially waste a day at a car dealership). Turns out that the tech installed the belt as if the car had been built in 2014 or later. My car is a 2013 model. They fixed the squeal for free since it was their mistake (they didn't pull the "well, it's been over a month since you brought in so we'll have to charge you scam). That's why they're keeping 3 stars (it's really a 2.5 star review, but I'll be nice, for now). But how do Kia technicians not know how to properly service a Kia correctly the first time? If a customer has spent half a day in the dealership and spent over $1400 that customer should be able to expect that the car is fixed correctly the first time.
