  • IGNORE ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY'RE OUTDATED! Read this one because this venue completed their renovations just last week (Aug 2016). It's nice inside and very clean. They've got a great high contrast (black/white) concept going on inside and it's great. I only ever come to these joints for studying so here are the factors. 1) Tables/chairs: 5/5 awesome white tables with light chairs, study bar has high stools and 2 outlets built into the table! The study bar is perfect for standing up when you feel like moving around or making it a stand-up work station. 2) Electric plugs: 4/5 about 85% of the seating area is accessible by electric plugs. Do not worry about bringing a power bar because you're set. 3) WiFi: 3/5 weak but acceptable for school work - don't expect to stream NBA or Dota 2 4) Volume level/ambience: 2/5 standard coffee shop chatter, music a little loud for my liking (indie light rock, etc). They've got random flies around the place and it's kind of bothersome; could just be summer and flies coming in from the front door opening. Highly recommend this spot for studying when Robarts or other libraries are closed. Lots of space and plugs. Perfect.
