  • Friday night seafood buffet is always good! My family and I always go....well, we used to. Last night was probably our last. The buffet manager on duty, Rochelle was RUDE and I did not appreciate the way she spoke to me! I know losing a family as customers won't do any harm, but HER customer service was flat out horrible! There were two lines, no signs indicating what or who the lines were for, so we stood in the shorter line. Well after 30 minutes we find out its for the VIP people and get asked to stand in the other line, which is now ridiculously long. Told her it wasn't fair, there's no signs what so ever, she said that's why she was monitoring the lines. So I said, well you weren't monitoring it for the last 30, minutes, and having to stand in another line wasn't fair for us! Then she told me that talking to her like that was the "wrong move". Talking to her like what? Factual? I walked away cuz at that point she pissed me off with that statement. Went back to her asking for a manager or someone else I could speak with to find out my options, cuz I still don't feel this is fair. She said she was the buffet manager. So I told her that as a manager she shouldn't be talking to her customers like that. She went on to tell me she doesn't have to take abuse, and her company was behind her 100% and that she didn't need to serve me and could get me escorted off the property. I agreed with her, and let her know I too work in customer service, but this isn't abuse. Never once did I raise my voice, swear or anything. Yes, I spoke with an attitude, but I feed off of vibes. As a customer, if you are going to treat me that way, don't expect me to talk to you politely. She kept telling me to calm down, and I told her repeatedly that I was calm and all I want to know are what my options if there were any. She gave me a whole uneccessary speech about telling me again she doesn't have to take abuse, that she was trying to help me but I kept attacking her and if I stepped out of line one more time she would call security on me. Even if it was me asking a question, to her i was "coming at her". I didn't want to talk to her to start with, but she refused to get me someone else and i feel she just used her manager power trip on me. She finally agreed that we didn't need to stand at the very end. Had she just listened and wasnt so quick to jump into defense mode, this could have been resolved so much faster and much more pleasant. And the only reason why I stayed, because I didn't want to, not after all that, was because my son wanted to eat crab! If it wasn't so late in the evening, I definitely would have made the drive to somewhere else! Everyone else we came in contact with was very pleasant as always!
