I found Kula about three years ago, did the $30 first month, and sampled all of the classes. I liked many of them, but my favourite was the live music jam on Wednesday evenings with Christi-an. There's something about having live music that makes yoga enjoyable to someone who doesn't really love going otherwise.
I've stayed there because I like the combination of body and soul that Kula's got, going to the $8 classes when funds are low. The staff is lovely, and the safe spaces initiative is powerful stuff. Many kudos for any place making such bold moves.
Bonus: Look for Kula in Dufferin Grove Park in the summer. The Thursday class has live music, great teaching and beautiful green space, all FOR FREE. Def my favourite yoga class in the city.
