Carb out with your c*ck out! Go for the pizza and pasta!
Grimaldi's gets a zillion recommendations, but I prefer the wood fired pizza here. The oven is practically in the dining area and smells wonderful. I ordered the Al Sole topped with sun dried tomatoes, basil, and unapologetically big fresh garlic chunks. The marinara sauce and thin crust were winners and obviously home made.
The mushroom papardelle was as pasta should be, freshly made and not drowned in liquid. The light sauce and juicy mushrooms were flavorful, but still allowed the pasta to take center stage. If you want sauce topped with noodles, stay home and go ape sh*t with Ragu.
