  • Disgusting! Where do I begin. Had a vanilla cupcake here four years ago and it was decent but very tiny. Bought the same flavor again several months later at her kiosk stand and it was dry. Fast forward a couple years and I thought I'd give JT one more shot since I'm uptown and the Instagram pictures seem to show improvement....WRONG! Boy was I so WRONG. Right from the moment I walked in and looked at those sad, tiny cupcakes that looked NOTHING like what she falsely advertise on social media. I hesitated but went ahead and asked if they were baked today, cause in my mind they didn't look fresh or appealing at all and I should of turned away right then and left but the cashier Sandra told me they're fresh and baked today. So against my better judgement I purchased a few anyway hoping for the best in spite of. Walked out of there after paying $17.32 of my hard earned money for some tiny, DRY, poor quality, truly nasty cake! Took one small piece of each one and couldn't consume anymore. They had a bad taste and smell. Yuck! I called right away and spoke with the owner. Well she could care less. She was very nonchalant. She never apologized. And can you believe she actually admitted that not all of her cupcakes are made fresh everyday. Her exact words were... if there is cake left over, then she just sell it the next day and that all bakeries do even if they say they don't. She said she has several employees from other bakeries that told her this. First of all that is so not true. Second, her mention of that had nothing to do with those nasty treats I bought from her WITH my hard earned money. JT should be ashamed. JT for your future customers sake, how about sharing with then that they're about to pay FULL PRICE for day old. And if you're going to sell day old you should make them AWARE and sell for half price. It's just as another reviewer said, that she doesn't care about the customer, just the money. Well this was the third and last time JT will ever see anymore of my money even if she does improve. And by the way, the owner did offer to replace my cupcakes with FRESH ones but that would be a lot of time and trouble to get back up there. She should of offered me a full refund for those Nasty Treats she sold to me. Wow, looking back, what I spent there would have bought me 4 delicious Nothing Bundt Cakes instead. What a complete waste of money. Never again. Zero Stars!
