  • I am a very tolerant person, especially when it comes to fast food restaurants. However, my husband and I will never come here again. Even though we have been in Anthem over 10 years, we come more and more infrequently to this McDonald's because the ice cream cones we order are seldom available. We came by at 9 pm after Music in the Park. (My husband said we shouldn't bother going there because they will not serve ice cream.). We waited minutes to give our order even though there was only one car. The other side of the drive-thru was blocked by cones. Sure enough, even though they are open until midnight tonight, they quit serving cones. I strongly recommend if you want good service and employees who care about providing the menu options, then do not patronize this McDonald's. Instead, go to Sonic in Anthem or to the McDonald's off I-17 and the Carefree Highway! They do a great job and that's where we go every time we are disappointed by the Anthem Way McDonald's. From tonight on, we will skip the disappointment and go where we are welcome and served.
