| - I booked a reservation here a month ago for Father's Day. I thought my father would enjoy the live jazz music they have playing during Sunday brunch. He likes jazz and live music so I didn't know of anywhere else in town that had that. Also, I wanted to try The Country Club. I love brunch and live music so I was excited. My reservation went from 4 to 7 up to the day off from family members joining. They had no problem changing the reso to a larger party.
I previously sent the menu to my mother so she would know what to expect. I didn't know it would be a set price of $60 per person with a buffet option. I think it was because it was Father's Day. I just wish they told me that on the phone when I made the reservation. I came a little late, but even during the dining experience, I never got an explanation of the pricing and day situation, so I didn't know until the bill came.
My mother loved the bottomless mimosas. They were on top of pouring more champagne whenever her and my Nana were finishing their glass.
The buffet had a variety of meat, waffles, shrimp and grits, seafood, salad, etc, so it's a good variety. I didn't order off the menu because I was full after the buffet. I don't think the buffet is there normally on Sundays.
My grandfather enjoyed the live music the most because he was familiar with the songs. My Nana sang along and applauded.
Afterwards, we went outside on the patio to take pictures. That was my favorite part! I would suggest dressing nice and eating here mainly to take pictures outside. You can't get the background anywhere else- the large golf course with the waterfall.
I would come back here to get a simple meal for lunch and take more pics lol.
Happy Father's Day everyone!
