| - All of the big Corporate Casino Hotels have a 24hour relatively bargain priced diner. Hard Rock's is Mr. Lucky's 24/7, and it is one of my favorites.
Like all the other big casino diners, Mr. Lucky's is too brightly lit, too loud, too crowded, and too impersonal to give them 5 stars. It is one of those, "it is what it is," situations. They have meticulously studied flows, and patterns, and they are designed to serve the maximum number of people in the space available with extreme efficiency. That does not generally make for a happy or pleasant place to eat, but Mr. Lucky's seems to have a slightly happier staff than most of the other casinos, and if you push them, you can break them away from their script for a sentence of human conversation or appreciation.
I LOVE the 7/7/7.
Despite the micro managing of the staff there are still common restaurant errors, wrong drink, messed up order, not cooked to order, missing item, the usual restaurant errors. I saw an error one night that was truly gross, but ALL RESTAURANTS make these mistakes.
So, Mr. Lucky's is too brightly lit, too loud, too impersonal, but it is one of my favorite bargain casino diners in Vegas.
Oh, and they have the best music. Duh, Hard Rock.
