  • I recently purchased a Fresh to go pizza from Crowfoot Co-op and was sadly disappointed. It looked good but when I got home, warmed it slightly and sat down to indulge, I found the toppings too sparse and the dough absolutely tasteless. Very disappointing. Won't be trying this pizza again for a while. Made me wonder how long the dough was allowed to rise and whether they use a cold rise - maybe too much yeast, I don't know. It was just cardboard. Bakery items look glorious on display but lack flavour sometimes. However, the Butter Chicken is almost 100% perfect. The only thing missing is fresh cilantro! All in all, the Fresh to go department is beautiful and a lovely new addition to one of Calgary's finest grocery stores just needs a little work.
