  • I wanted to try LYFE Kitchen for a very long time, but it took me more than one year to convince my fiancĂ© to try this place. In general, he is rather open minded towards healthy and vegetarian options. The other day I finally dragged him to LYFE Kitchen and I have to admit that he was right: The restaurant itself is cute and the patio area is a plus. I am even OK with ordering my food at the cashier desk like at McDonalds, but the food quality is the problem. Everything is prepared without love. There is no seasoning, no sauces nor any other flavor. The buns are dry. This kind of restaurants actually prove the anti-vegans right that healthy vegan food is not good and not worth trying. I was really hoping that this would be a place where I could bring my non-vegetarian friends and show them how good meatless healthy food can be! Bummer! Ok, I give 1 star for the health-conscious idea + 1 star for the food + 1 star for the restaurant design. But I recommend the fantastic Gardein Menu at Yardhouse instead!
