This was my first time dining at Osaka, and I was pretty underwhelmed. I was also disappointed with the prices they charged for what we ordered. We ordered a salmon skin roll, poke salad, and I shared a beef and chicken teriyaki combination with my wife. The salmon skin roll was horrible. There was barely any salmon skin in the roll, and what crunch I did feel was not the salmon skin but the cucumber/carrots in the roll. There was also way too much rice in the roll as well. The poke salad was not actually poke salad as I expected it to be, but instead it was a plate of seaweed salad with a several cubes of ahi around it. This was $17?!? The teriyaki beef and chicken combination was equally half assed. It was just grilled slices of beef and chicken with teriyaki sauce (alot of it at that) poured on top. I don't think they actually grilled the meat with the sauce. This was $18?!?
The service was good and the server kept topping off my soda, and that's why I'm giving two stars. I won't be coming back.
