| - WOW!
What a fun experience. Yes, it's pricey. Yes, it's hard to find. Yes, it looks slightly lame from the photos...
But it is TOTALLY worth it!
In terms of structure, they ask that you arrive a little more than an hour before your flight time. This allows time for check-in and the beginner class. You'll get fitted into flight suits, goggles, and helmets (and earplugs, because hey...it's loud!) Because it's so loud in the tunnel, you have to communicate with hand signals. The main purpose of the class is to teach you these.
You're in a group of 10 flyers. Each person gets 2 flights of 45 seconds each (unless you pay for more time). A flight instructor guides you and teaches you as you fly, and will help you perform some tricks! For an extra $10, on your last flight, you can fly higher up in the tunnel and spin around...I know it seems silly, but I thought it was worth it.
Our instructor was the BEST! Spencer was not only knowledgeable, but also professional, talented, and just plain fun! I'd love to fly again with him as a teacher.
