I live in the area and pass by all the time but never went inside because it didn't look promising but one day, I finally did.
At first, it wasn't that bad. I took a quick scan around and there is A LOT of products stuffed into one small shop. The staff immediately did ask me if I needed help but I knew base on their answers that their knowledge of their products was quite limited. Nevertheless, I browsed around and was surprised by the variety of products offer. They have a lot of supplies and brands for reptiles, small animals (Versele-Laga), birds, cats, and dogs. Their prices are on the higher side but they did offer products that I rarely see at other stores so I guess it's justifiable.
Then that's when the good stuff ended. I walked to the back where I realized there was a live animal section. It was dimly light and the animals were kept in awful conditions. :( I was shocked! The cages for the animals were very bare - almost no bedding, no hides. There was a ferret being kept in an empty rabbit cage (no toys)! I felt very bad for the animals and couldn't bare to look at them (I wanted to take all of them home with me).
