  • Be warned if you are getting pergo flooring installed by home depot. Went to place my order at the store& was told their computer system is down. No problem they are going to call me back tomorrow. Tomorrow came & went..called them & was told "I am cutting a blind I will call you back....never did. I called again got routed back to customer service. Then I asked to speak to a manager (Monica). Eventually got the flooring ordered...then had to wait for it to be delivered to the store due to their ridiculous delivery charges if they delivered to my home. The company who actually does the install WESTERN FLOORING demands the material be inside the prior to install & when the installers arrive they look for ways to charge you more. In addition the installers may be told that your install is for two days but they NEVER informed the customer. Now your home is in disarray because you had to move your furniture yourself or pay western flooring $100 for each piece of furniture to be moved. Then western flooring thinks this is okay because it's NO inconvenience to them. Tony from western flooring had no problem inconveniencing the customer. Not to mention no bedroom to sleep in...Western Flooring suggested that I setup the bed in the living room. NOT happening. After this experience with Home Depot & their contractor Western Flooring I will no longer shop there. Whatever happened to customer service? No apologies from either company. I will be sure to read YELP reviews prior to making any future major purchases.
