| - Sadly, the fun and unique Zombie Apocalypse Store has closed, and is now some stupid bitcoin thing. I hope the owner makes lots of money, or fake money, or whatever the heck bitcoin is supposed to be, because he was a cool dude. Frankly I feel he could have cleaned up on the Zombie thing...I have friends who went to Vegas all the time and never heard of the store, and these are gun nut/zombie nut/survivalist types, too. It wasn't just a store, either...there was a shooting gallery and other small attractions there. Halloween is almost as big as Christmas, so he could have capitalized on that as well. It's a shame this awesome concept went down the tubes.

Zombies!
I've been here twice, and I've enjoyed this store both times.
They have cool zombie stuff, like shirts, mugs, signs and posters. They have knives, some normal, some zombie themed. They have a smattering of survival gear. They have a decent selection of ammunition. They have a (light gun) shooting gallery and a couple animatronic show things.
Just to be clear, this is not a one-stop shop for anything. You are not going to complete your survival bunker at this store. You are not going to find ammo for your orphan vz 52 rifle. You will not find the same amount and variety of items here as you would Costco.
What you will find is a friendly owner and staff (the cute chick wasn't there on my second visit...bummer), some really cool things, and a good way to spend a little time in Vegas without going broke or catching an STD.
Their prices aren't bad. Can you find ammo cheaper? Sure, if you shop around, but I doubt you'll find it cheaper anywhere near Vegas. Their prices were about the same as anywhere else I've seen in NV, AZ, and CA...and way cheaper than my local gun shops.
Same goes with mugs, shirts, and so on. There's a zillion Las Vegas shirts wherever you go, but only one place that sells Zombie shirts!
I'm not sure if they still have the pawn shop things going on, and while I did see a sign for artificial grass, I saw no indication it was sold there. And really, who cares? The man's trying to make a living.
I spoke with the owner for a bit. He actually remembered me from over three months ago! I've had waitresses forget they sat me at their friggin table, so I was impressed.
If you're looking for a fun time in Vegas, I suggest you stop by. I doubt you'll find such an unusual store anywhere else.
Highly Recommend!
