We had a new sewer line put in by Rescue Rooter last summer (2012) when our line burst on a Sunday (of course). In the process of replacing the line, our tree was damaged (limb had to be removed), several pavers were broken and the backhoe left a few gouges in our driveway. The tree and pavers were dealt with, but the driveway remains an issue as of today. When I tried to follow up this week, I learned that Rescue Rooter is no longer doing business in AZ. They appear to be a subsidiary of Goettl and now there is a new company known as The Sunny Plumber. Goettl has assumed all of the liability from Rescue Rooter . . . so I'm not sure if this was really a name change to protect the (not-so) innocent. We just want to make sure that our 10-year warranty on the new sewer line is valid.
