If I had to find a way to describe Randyland, it would be: A combination of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory meets Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat... but painted on a house and displayed in the yard. It's colorful, wacky, zany, and you cannot help but love it. You're awesome struck at the detail put into some of these pieces and just blown away by imagination.
My dad met Randy when in town for my wedding. When he came out for Christmas, we just had to stop by and see this amazing place. Wow! In my opinion, this is a must see destination for anyone who loves art and/or Pittsburgh. It's simply one of a kind! From swan planters to mannequin heads, painted doors and fences, this entire place is a work of art.
Randy is more than welcome to greet you and shake your hand. His personality is like the house - vibrant! You can't help but love him. He is the best of Pittsburgh.
If you've never been to Randyland, do yourself a favor and visit. In the words of Randy, "Nice!"
