  • I have gone with my kids every year since they were in grade school to buy an ornament from Gale's. It is a family tradition. They are now in college and have the most beautiful, personal collection of ornaments for when they start their own traditions. You can buy the usual greenhouse living plant type stuff but Christmas is special here. They have all sorts of nooks and crannies decorated for the holidays, each with its own theme. It's fun to go just to get in the Christmas spirit. There is even a shop cat who wanders the place if you are lucky enough to see him. His name is Petey. They also do a pretty fab Halloween display if you want to get into that holiday next year!
