So, I'm a little torn here. The facility is beautiful and everyone was really nice, but the organization was not so relaxing. My boyfriend bought me a massage for Mother's Day. I went in to check into my massage and they told me it hadn't been paid for. It had been. They insisted on taking my credit card, rather than doing the necessary research to see that it had in fact been paid for. Then I had gotten there early so I could have a couple cocktails, eat, and relax by the pool before my massage. I ordered and my food never came. I went to check out so that I could get to my massage and they charged me for the food that never came. My massage was fantastic and the therapist was great, but my stomach was growling through the whole thing... making it not so relaxing or enjoyable. Then as I was leaving I asked whether they had figured out the charge for the massage and they guaranteed me they had. They guaranteed me my card would not be charged. I was charged. Not only for my massage but also for my sister's since the reservation was booked together. The people were nice and the facility is truly beautiful...I just don't think my experience there was worth the $1000 charged and now the Monday phone calls to get the charges reversed. It just wasn't relaxing... like it could have been. Maybe I'll try them again, but I'll probably just go back to Montelucia. That's where I have always gone and have had very relaxing experiences there.
