I will never buy a car 1st hand. At least not a German car. Heard my friends and colleagues crib too much about the Charlotte BMW and VW dealers!
I have a 1985 Porsche 944 that I love. I've probably spent more money (not counting hours that I've put in myself) getting it into better shape than I bought it for. I just wish I'd found these guys earlier. Would have saved me a ton of money and would have been better done as well.
My car broke down (well, I was trying to do a timing belt change with a friend's help at his home) in Charleston and had no choice but to give it to the Porsche dealer there - baker motors. Baker Motors was a complete rip-off. My final bill at Baker came to 4K when I'd initially been quoted 2K - unlike at Eurowise where quotes are rock solid!
Eurowise is such a pleasant surprise that I no longer put off any preventive maintenance! Don't think twice - I should have spent $900 on towing from Charleston to get it to Eurowise instead of giving it to Baker motors that one time!
Btw, when I went to pick up my 944 today I saw an even older 911 Targa in pristine condition right next to my car. So this is a place where people who love their cars bring it - because Eurowise also treats them with care and love. Did I tell you that my handbrake that had a bad cable was fixed at no charge?
