| - This is a great vegas-like club in Toronto.
With rating any club, there are several things you gotta consider. Let's do this the easy way.
PROS
- Great venue, lights/stages/sound is incredible. The way it's set up is gorgeous, with large spaces all around. The upstairs for booths is great and has an awesome view where you can avoid all the ratchets downstairs. Good space on the patio as well, given that it IS cabana pool bar.
- Lots of bars, and they're usually quick
- Tons of booths, all the bougie asians will be in there 100% of the time with their giant bottles of goose and Hennessy.
- Not really much ruckus given from the security
- Most staff here are REALLY nice and smiley
CONS
- Wtf is this location? Trying to get here from the downtown core is a trek. You gotta drive?? Or uber, which is hell on earth as it gets SOO congested. Also heard there's some shuttle to union.. but I can only imagine how ratchet that will get. It's a no from me, dawg.
- Crazy crowded with pushy people, especially during events. People will press their sweaty bodies on you during events. They underestimate the strength of this asian girl.
- The line to get in.. WTF?? So many security guards and doorguards but literally the line is ridiculous. During events the lines stretch out to the main road... and they DON'T. MOVE. It's not a one time instance, it happens literally almost EVERY time. My friend got to the venue once at 10:15PM and got in at 11:50PM... ARE YOU GOOD?
- Paying is ROUGH at the bar.... sometimes their machines are down, and reject your card. Other times you buy a $4 water with a twenty and get your change in quarters.. bissssh what?
- Uh, people got shot here.
Overall, great venue and I'm really happy to have it here in toronto!
Let's keep it violence and gun free, k?
