This is such a good dog park! Interesting elevation changes and exploration loops down the back fence line. Easily maintained surface (no mud pits right after a rain storm when we went). There are plenty of clean up stations around the park.
Other reviewers are blaming the dog park for dog/owner problems, which isn't fair. It was pretty busy the day I went (I called it "husky-fest" from the half dozen large huskies there), but all the owners seemed to take care of their dogs and catch them when they were getting too chippy.
The star off is for the "small dog" area, or quarantine, it's a joke because it's only about 50 square feet.
If the park isn't the place for you and your pup, then there's a few miles of all purpose trail immediately accessible.
