  • I'm always apprehensive to visit any doctor! I just had my first visit for a checkup with Dr. Vicuna and I had a great experience from beginning to end. I had a 9:30 AM appointment and it started right on time. I called in with my insurance info (Aetna) when I booked the appointment so everything was good to go on the day of. The staff was very very friendly and got me through the initial tests before my comprehensive exam with Dr. Vicuna. They explained to me what each test entailed and were very helpful with any questions I had. Dr. Vicuna was so pleasant and very thorough with explaining what she was doing throughout the exam. She really puts you at ease with her kind and pleasant demeanor which is great for me because I get tense quickly walking into any doctor's office, dentist, hospital, etc. As thorough as she is, she still gets you through your appointment quickly as she works with a professional sense of urgency. All my questions were answered and explained to me in a way that I can understand. Great stuff. Dr. Vicuna is a great optometrist you can take your whole family to. Highly recommended for all your optometry needs. =)
