  • I decided to check out this place. I walk in and ask to get an oil change. It's the first oil change for my recently bought 2012 Hyundai Accent. My warranty is still good through the dealership since I bought it through them FYI. The lady at the desk said it'll be 19.99 so I said okay I'll get the oil change! OIL CHANGE ACTUALLY COSTS $35.99 and it's a small inexpensive car. After waiting for about an hour, a sketchy mechanic comes out and calls my name. He brings me to my car and says the filter for the motor needs replacement, the AC/motor bands need replacement, the transmission fluid needs to be replaced. It would run around $280 total if I replaced them on the spot and if I didn't, it would run up to $500 the next I came back. My dad knows about cars so I asked him, he said the car was in great condition. Nothing needs replacement. It been months since that "mechanic" told me that, and my car is running perfectly fine. They were trying to rip me off. An oil change that went from $20 bucks to almost $40 and than tried to get me to pay almost $300 for un needed maintenance!! Never going back!!!
