I'm a major bread person so I was really excited to try Prarie Boy. I just didn't like it very much, at least not as much as a place like Blackbird.
Prairie Boy is sourdough only. I tried the country white and the cinnamon raisin. The white had a nice crust on it, but was exceedingly dense. The texture was very tough, although it had a nice depth of flavour. I prefer cinnamon raisin to have a little sweetness but this version had no sweetness to it at all. It was so savoury that it tasted salty toasted with butter (salted). Both were good, but they just weren't extremely delicious.
