  • I came to The Range 702 from Arizona and my Brother from California to attend NV free CCW class. Our instructor was Alex Moore. He was informative with all of the laws and responsibility that go along with legally carrying a concealed weapon. Range 702 was the best indoor shooting range I have ever been in, but my class 06/07/2015 is one of the last ones at Range 702 as they are moving. I believe if you are going to carrying a concealed weapon into any state (the ones that allow to do so) you have the responsibility to learn the laws of each State and I think the best way is to attend a CCW class of your home state or any state that may be near you such as Nevada for me.....at least that's what I thought. ****** As I said Alex Moore was an excellent instructor very informative and overall made the class fun. I forgot the name of the gentleman who taught the Utah CCW class, but was also excellent. Now let me tell you all my all of my disappointments of this CCW class. As of June 17 2015 (the day I attended the CCW class) Nevada laws, SB 175 and AB 488, were recently passed by the Nevada legislature and signed into law by Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval. For more info to go http://gsd.nv.gov/ and in the in the search box upper right put in CCW and that will give you a list of all the states. So apparently Alex Moore was not familiar with all the laws. I wish Alex or someone at Range 702 and or fingerprinting Bureau would have given us a head ups that the law may change and we wouldn't have to pay $100 dollars to get a NV CCW card that I no longer need. !!!!!! Let me reiterate, I think it's still a good a good idea for anyone!!! to take the CCW class for Nevada CCW and I also think that Range 702 is one the best place to go so that you are familiar with all the laws and responsibility that go with carrying a concealed weapon.....But check!!!! To see if you need to pay that $100 for a permit that you may not need.
