| - Kennywood is great, I've been here twice now and I have to say my latest visit was far superior. The first time I went was on fright night, I'm not into scary stuff or haunted houses at all which is part of it, but it's extremely crowded during fright nights and you'll have to wait in long lines to get on rides. This was a stark contrast to my last visit on a summer weekday, when I walked into the park and was on a ride within 3 minutes. It was very hot but Kennywood provides some of those mist sprinkler things around the park which make everything better. I did not go on any of the water rides because I did not want to get wet. I took the 61C to Kennywood but I did get confused about the bus stop back. I don't particularly like to eat park food but I did get a funnel cake and a slush. I will comment on a few of the rides I went on so you can decide if it's for you or not.
Sky Rocket: I would say this is the second best coaster in the park, it is thrilling with the drops and twists but doesn't take you upside down or anything.
Phantom: This is the highlight of the park. My friend and I just went around and around to go on this over and over again. Be careful though, if you go on the front car once you will be addicted and the later cars may not be good enough for you anymore.
Garfield's Nightmare: This ride is really weird, I am a huge scaredy cat so I kept being afraid something was going to jump out at me. I'll leave it up to you to see what happens.
Racer: This ride is very interesting, there are two cars on a one loop track and my friend got pretty confused by it. It is not very high on the thrill scale, but it is definitely a unique coaster.
Exterminator: The line for this ride got HOT. It wasn't as exciting as I wanted it to be, you basically just get thrown around a lot in the dark. I wish there were more sudden drops or something.
Cosmic Chaos: This ride is more fun than it looks but it made me SO NAUSEOUS
Thunderbolt: Probably the 3rd most fun ride.
Bumper cars: If you are here with friends, you have to go bumper cars
Overall it was super fun, especially with the place not being crowded. There definitely weren't any crazy roller coasters, but it was all right because phantom is just fun enough that I would want to go on it again and again without getting tired. I didn't think I would stay til closing time but I had so much fun I ended up being there until dark. Kennywood is really a great experience and I definitely recommend going if you can during the summer weekday with just one other person, you'll be exhausted by the end but you'll have a blast.
