I had a business dinner here at it was a wonderful experience. The hostess was very cute and friendly and brought us to a table giving us a panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Even though one major attraction was the sunset views, it was cloudy and we got to see distant lightning strikes instead which was pretty impressive in itself. Our server Denise was very knowledgeable and engaging. She recommended that we try a new drink that had a mixture of rum and champagne with blackberries that was a cool purple infusion that was delicious as well. Denise explained the concept of the restaurant in that all the produce came from farm to table and the fish and other protein were flown in fresh daily as needed. I started out by trying the salt roasted beets (no one else in the table wanted to share with me) which were good, but not great. The beets were just a little undercooked relatively to what I prefer/am used to and the accompanying Asian pear, sunflower seeds, and boursin just didn't add much to the dish. Our server provided us with some edamame on the house that I did not partake in because I am not a huge fan of it. I did fill up on the bread that they provided us. For the entrée, I had duck which was absolutely delicious. There were two slices of duck breast that were juicy and cooked perfectly and there was a crepe and some sweet tasty juicy tomatoes on the side as well as a rice dish. Because my co-worker knew the chef indirectly, we were provided with free dessert which included a stout gelato, chocolate cake, and some cookies. Price was reasonable given the high quality of service and food and drink (less than $100 per head). Wow, I've gotta come back!
