  • I had an extreme toothache last week which turned out to be the result of an infection in a tooth I had crowned about 12 years ago. I first met with my dentist (Dr. Jeff Peifer at Avalon Dental) who diagnosed and identified the problem, then he referred me to Dr. Jason Hales at Superstition Springs Endodontics. I was ecstatic SSE was able to see me the same day as an emergency patient because of the pain I was in. Dr. Hales confirmed that I needed a root canal and spent time with me to describe the situation and the procedure, answered some questions, and then performed it right away. I was surprised how quick and easy the procedure went. I felt immediate relief from the toothache even after the numbing wore off! The post-procedure recommendations were clear and helpful, and I appreciated the call the next day to ensure I was recovering well and see if I had any questions. Everyone I dealt with at SSE was friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable my entire time in the office. Honestly, I hope I don't ever have to go there again, but I will definitely return if I need to, and I highly recommend to everyone this is the place to go if you need an endodontist. Thanks!
