I was going to be in Phoenix for a few days and I wanted to take a cooking class. Being from New England, I knew nothing about the area so I read a few websites and took a chance.
This was a class on making tamales, a hands-on, 3 hour class.
What a joy. A great class. Everything promised was delivered. the chef/teacher was our leader, our mentor, an orchestral conductor who brought us all in and made us create a symphony of sweet and savory tamales that were as good as any I have ever had.
All questions were answered and then some. Quality ingredients, a superb facility.
3 hours of non stop fun and learning. I recommend Andy's to everyone. Lucky you if you live nearby.
One drawback: bring your own coffee- the stuff here is too weak
