  • If you haven't ever been out here do yourself a favor and go check it out. These caves are abandoned mining caves that turned out to be duds. Hence why there abandoned. The caves have been inhabited by the homeless for a while and there is a lot of broke glass, beer cans, and debri all over and even a half way constructed 2 story shanty. It's public for everyone so don't let anything keep you from exploring any part of the caves you desire. In the 80's and 90's people used to bring generators out here and punk bands would play shows. It was so cool coming out here back then and partying. This was truly disconnected from the city you were really partying out in the desert. You can see the caves atop a small mountain/hill off Fort Apache and Warm Springs.
